DESCRIPTION: Sub-spherical galls that are formed internally therefore not erupting through the epidermis. They protrude from both leaf surfaces and are light green to reddish in colour. DISTRIBUTION: Occassional throughout at coastal sites and sandy areas and found mainly in late summer but can be seen all year round. HABITAT: Mainly on the midrib of leaves on Dog Roses and more commonly on Burnet Rose.
